Get Into The Rhythm Of Latin America At Fiesta 2015!
Ignite your passion and feed your soul with Latin music, dance, food and culture when Latin America takes over Darling Harbour for Fiesta!
From 10-11 October, Fiesta sets the air a-buzzing and the atmosphere electric with Beco Latino at Palm Grove, the festival hub that’s set to sizzle with seductive international acts, local talent and more, plus Argentinian wine at the Beco Latino bar. Experience the rich variety of latin dance and music styles at La Clave in Darling Quarter, or check out colourful contemporary and traditional folkloric dance at the Tropicana stage, Harbourside Amphitheatre.
There’s mouth-watering tastes from all over Latin America at Mercado Latino, and a huge selection of Fiesta-inspired drinks and dining offers at restaurants, cafes and bars around the bay. And dotted around Darling Harbour from now until 11 October are Picture Yourself Here photo walls presented by LATAM Airlines Group, so you can snap some cool pics of you and your friends partying at Rio de Janeiro Carnival, Machu Picchu or the Galapagos Islands. If you like the way you look at those locations, you could win one of three flights for two people to South America with LAN Airlines, part of LATAM Airlines Group and South America’s leading airline network. You could travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador or Cuzco in Peru, and to spice up the deal you’ll get $1,000 spending money.
But by far the most fun part of Fiesta is the music, where your ears can feast on the vibrant styles of Latin America and your feet (and arms, and legs, and hips, and head!) can dance the night away. We’ve picked out some special highlights for you, so get acquainted with these incredible acts, and get your dancing shoes ready!
